Welcome to Happy Hearts! Happy Hearts is a unique blend of music and
physical education developed by Tookie Barr ~ 20 years ago! Students today
continue to enjoy Mousercise with Mickey; parachute fun; obstacle courses;
and a variety of movement to music ranging from traditional children's songs
to oldies to jazz and including the music of our St. Joseph liturgies. When
the weather becomes more tolerable, we will frequently take our class
outdoors where we can jump, skip, run, and develop the large motor skills to
their fullest.
Field Day will be here before we know it. This is always a fun day when the
kids show you how they have developed their motor, musical, and coordination
skills. The date will be Friday, April 25. Details on your child's
specific class time will follow.
Please contact me any time you have questions or concerns about your child's
participation in Happy Hearts.
