Welcome to my web page! I am very excited to work with your children this
year, and help them discover the music within them. Children learn music as
readily as they learn language, so this is a crucial time for your children
to enjoy as many musical experiences as possible. Please see the "Music"
page for information specific to your child's music class, and "Happy
Hearts," if you have a K-Village student.
I am very excited to have the assistance of Crystal Williams this year in
preparing school programs, such as our Christmas Program, Spring
Extravaganza, and a Talent Show. Rachel Thrash will also join us to produce
a fun Christmas musical play, which will be presented in the evening so that
the whole family can attend. Parents unable to attend in the evening will
be welcome to attend the all school dress rehearsal during school hours.
Watch for more information on auditions as we finalize plans, and please do
not be shy if you are interested in helping. We will need costumes, scenery,
and all kinds of help we haven't even thought of yet. This will be a
wonderful opportunity to get involved in your child's school!
Also, we now have phones right in our rooms. During music classes, you will
be sent directly to voicemail, but I will check it frequently and will get
back with you as soon as possible, usually the same day. I am also a fan of
e-mail -- the communication medium that allows us all to respond whenever we
are able. Please feel free to contact me in whichever way you are most
comfortable.
