About The Teacher

Hello, my name is Michelle Wagley and I am the 6th grade Social Studies 
teacher and the 4th - 8th grade Computer teacher at St. Joseph School.  I 
began my career in education four years ago, teaching 5th grade Science and 
Social Studies.

I grew up in San Antonio, Texas, where I attended Ursuline Academy.  My 
family moved to Shreveport when I was a senior in high school, and I 
graduated from Loyola College Prep.  As a Catholic, and growing up in 
Catholic schools, I feel truly blessed to be teaching at St. Joseph 
School.    

It is my educational philosophy that you get out of education what you put 
into it.  All children can succeed in everything they do if they choose to 
put the time and effort into the learning opportunities given to them.  

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our four 
children.  I also love to attend sporting events, especially LSU football 
games.
