I am Jennifer Donaldson. This is my fourth year of teaching at St. Joseph.
I have taught third grade for two years, before that fourth grade. I
received my bachelor of arts in political science from St. Martin's College
in Olympia,WA in 1998 while my husband served in the army at Fort Lewis. I
am a native of LaPlace, Louisiana which is located between New Orleans and
Baton Rouge.
We have lived in Bossier City for eight years. I am currently working on my
Master's Degree in teaching at Centenary College. I have two children that
attend St. Joseph School. I have been married to Alfred for 14 years. My
children are Sarah (5th grade) and Tres (2nd grade). I am excited about
teaching third grade again this year.
Hi! I am Katie Saravia. This is my second year at St. Joseph and I am so
excited to teach all of your eager 3rd graders. I am married and have one
daughter and another little one on the way! I received my B.S. in
Environmental Science in 2003 and am now at LSUS taking classes toward my
certification. I'm looking forward to a great year!
It is our goal to prepare your children to enter fourth grade with strong
math computation skills, great reading comprehension, organizational skills
that help them keep their stress levels low, and social skills that help
them behave appropriately in a variety of settings.
