Ms. Desmond's and Mrs. Leedy's Overview
November 16, 2009
We are "Wild about Learning" with a motto of "Hakuna
Matata," (no worries).
We were very pleased with the interims that went home last week. The majority
of the students are doing very well! If your student is not, please help
devise a plan to assist him or her in improving areas in need of work. Also
the holidays are here and some of us are getting easily distracted. Please
try to help your student stay focused. Remember: Interims were issued last
Thursday. Please return signed interims ASAP.
REMEMBER: Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the November Reading presentations
will be the first week of December on the 2nd and 3rd. Each child must give me
the name of their Historical Biography by this Friday, November 6th. It must
be a biography of a person who has been important in American History. Check
with me if you have any questions. There will be a special set of requirements
for the presentations this month. THE GUIDELINES WENT HOME LAST WEEK!
Once again, if you need to contact us, the most rapid method is through email.
Contact us at deanna.desmond@stpsb.org
or sherry.leedy@stpsb.org. Sincerely,
Deanna Desmond and Sherry Leedy
