Ms. Desmond's and Mrs. Leedy's Overview January 4, 2010

We are "Wild about Learning" with a motto of "Hakuna Matata," (no worries).

HAPPY NEW YEAR!  Thanks so much to everyone for your incredible generosity to both of us.  We are so appreciative of each and every gift and to all you did to help during our holiday week.  Our class party and our Polar Express events were both great experiences and that is due to you and your generosity.   Thanks again for everything! We truly appreciate all you have given to us and all that you have done for the students.

As we look forward to new beginnings for the year, we are also looking forward to new beginnings in school!  This is the time to review school expectations and to re-evaluate plans for success.  Please speak with your student about the need for any changes in study habits or behaviors.  Thanks for all you do to help make this year a success.  We begin a new quarter today.  All students are starting with a “clean slate”.  This is also the time of year we need to replenish school supplies.  Please check with your student to see if he/she needs to replace any notebooks, coloring supplies or pencils.  Many students need to new supplies, please check on this.

Once again, if you need to contact us, the most rapid method is through email. Contact us at deanna.desmond@stpsb.org or sherry.leedy@stpsb.org.       Sincerely, Deanna Desmond and Sherry Leedy
