Week of November 9-13, 2009
Math: We are working with variables and algebraic expressions this week.
Lessons will cover pages 100-107. Students will also continue working with
multiples and factors of large numbers. Students will use skip-counting to
determine large multiples of numbers and use skip-counting to solve word
problems.
Science: Students should review pages E38-E49 and be able to use the
information on the periodic table to answer questions about elements.
Students will be given a study guide/practice test this week to help them
prepare for their test next week.
Social Studies: Students should review all lessons in Chapter 2 for their
test on Thursday. Workbook pages pertaining to Chapter 2 will be graded.
