For those who don’t know me, my name is Ms. Meredith Long. This will be my Fifth year teaching in the talented theatre program. I am originally from New Jersey and I have been a professional actress, singer and dancer in New York City. I have been seen across the country in several national tours and off Broadway productions. I have worked for Disney Cruise Line as one of the main stage performers. I have also worked with Tony Award winners Gary Beach and Terrance Mann. I played the role of Cha Cha In the national tour of “Grease” with Frankie Avalon and Chubby Checker. I graduated from Shenandoah Conservatory of Music with A bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Music Theatre and I continue to perform, direct and teach around the greater New Orleans Area. You may have seen me at Le Petit Theatre, Le Chat Noir, River town Repertory, Tulane Summer Lyric or Jefferson Performing Arts. I currently reside in the New Orleans Area with my husband Ford Dieth who is also a teacher at Christian Brothers, our son Trey and our two dogs Molson and Cocoa!!!
