Math: Students will survey each other about favorite cookies. They will create various types of graphs using data collected from survey and gingerbread glyph! Gingerbread men will also be used to teach perimeter, area, measurement, geometry, flips, turn. rotations. Textbook Chp. 4. Please review 8 multiplication facts I will be checking for mastery this week. Instead of POW this week, students will complete Christmas word problems due on Friday!

 Reading: Poetry: rhythm, rhyme, verse, and line

Infer!!!! THINK!

 Science: Complete sound unit with video. In class grade will be given on questions from video and worksheets. Begin light unit. Text pgs. E96-113

Language:Continue to focus on mechanics with Letter to Santa!

Social Studies:both classes: Weekly Social Studies Sheet #15 due on Friday! Northeast Region text pgs. 126-149. We will test on Chp. 5 next Tues-Voc. Test and Wed. Open Book Test. Study Guides will be completed in class this week.

 Spelling:Unit 19: bottle, pebble, single, jumble, tickle, rattle, middle, bubble, sample, cattle, snuggle, kettle, jungle, ankle, giggle, simple, settle, temple, battle, mumble

Please look for the note in your child's folder regarding LEAP prep. Each student will have a LEAP notebook and recording sheets. Parents will need to initial recording sheets as practice tests on Louisiana Pass are completed.
