PARENT INFORMATION ABOUT ONLINE QUIZZES:
I periodically use online assessments through this webpage instead of standard paper and pencil tests in my ELA classes. The skills are assessed in the same manner as a standard test but without the use of paper. The students are generally allowed 2 - 3 days to take the test when they feel best prepared, and they are allowed to take it in school if a computer is not available at home. Because there is no paper copy, these grades are not included in the weekly graded folder, but they are posted on STI. If you would like a copy sent in the folder, please send me a note and I will make sure that your child prints his/her test at the time he/she takes it and turns it in to me.
