Ms. Esparros: I graduated in 1983 from Western Washington University in
Bellingham, Washington. I have over 20 years of experience teaching all
subjects in various grades. This is my 14th year at TMS, with the last 13
years in 5th grade. I am thrilled to be teaching with Mrs. Jennings again, and
am the Math and Science part of our team.
My child, Claire, will be starting her freshman year at Elon University in
North Carolina in September.
I have two cats. Kisses has blue eyes, is pure white and deaf. Leschi is
black and white and 20 years old!
Mrs. Jennings: I graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station,
Texas. This is my 19th year to teach, and my second year at Tchefuncte. I
have taught 1st grade for three years, 3rd grade for one year, and 4th grade
for the last 13 years. I have taught all subjects, but love English/language
arts the most! I have been married to my husband, Stephen, for 15 years. He
is a senior project manager with Southern Homes. I have a 13 year old
daughter, Abby, who is an 8th grader at Mandeville Jr. High, and a 5th grade
son, Aidan, who is here at Tchefuncte with me. I have a box turtle
named Pokey that I've had for 17 years, a Russian Tortoise named Leonardo
(he thinks he's a Ninja Turtle!),and two beagles named Maddy & Franky
(or "Frankfurter" as I like to call him!). I am very excited
to be teaching at Tchefuncte.
