During the next four weeks, we'll be learning about choices and stories
rhymes. Children will continue to practice one-to-one correspondence,
about geometric shapes, and count. We will begin to notice patterns.
also be doing some fun Christmas activities.

    1. Follow the teacher’s directions.
    2. Use kind words and manners.
    3. Walk in line without making noise.

4. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

Zachary Early Learning Center has three general expectations that all
students should strive to achieve. They are:

1.Be respectful,
2.Be responsible, and
3.Be your best.

We “sing” these expectations daily, so ask your child to “sing the
expectations song”.

Please read to your child daily. You will be surprised how much your
learns from listening to you read. Ask your child point to a letter,
capital letter, period and sentence. We talk about these daily. Also,
your child about his/her day. He/She will be so excited to “talk” to you
about his/her day and what he/she is learning.

It is very important for you to review your child’s backpack daily for
important notes. Please sign and return all notes as soon as possible.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call me
school, email me. We want your child to have a wonderful experience of
first year of school. Thanks for sharing your child with us.
