The 2007-2008 school year marks my 18th year of teaching. I am a
native of Plaquemine, Louisiana, and I was a teacher in Iberville Parish for
the first sixteen years of my career. I am thrilled to return to the ZHS
faculty for a second year.
I am married to Russell Blanchard, a CPA who works with the accounting firm
Hannis T. Bourgeois, LLC. We have two daughters: Sara, 3; and Julia, 2.
We are new residents to Zachary.
Our class mission is to provide an environment that fosters each student's
ability to achieve his/her personal best in the areas of reading, writing,
and speaking.
