Mission For The Class

Applied Iand II
1.  Students will learn basic mathematical concepts and applications 
     relating basic mathematical operations, algebra, measurement, geometry, 
     data,probability, and discrete mathematics.
2.  Students will learn and prepare for national and state mandated 
    standarized tests (LEAP, GEE, and IOWA)

GEE Prep


Financial Math
This course covers fundamental mathematical operations and their application 
to business problems. Topics include payroll, pricing, interest and 
discount, commission, taxes, and other pertinent uses of mathematics in the 
field of business.  Upon completion, students should be able to apply 
mathematical concepts to business.


Study Skills I & II
1.  Students will have the opportunity to receive additional help in core 
    courses as well as electives.
2.  Students will be more aware of effective study skills.
3.  Students will understand how to balance their time with study and 
    extracurricular activities.
4.  Students will become more cognitive of what to expect in the real world.
5.  Students will learn the skills to help prepare them for interviews and 
    how to complete a resume
