Tuesday - Go over GEE #1, get GEE #2, Review ws 33/34.
Wednesday- Similar Figures and proportions. Finish ws 33 and work on 35/36. (10 points)
Thursday - Working with midpoints and midsegments of figures. ws 58/59 (10 points)
Friday - Review information for the week, turn in GEE #2, work with perimeters and proportions if there is time.
January 21 to January 25
We had a test! The test covered Quadrilaterals and the students were allowed to use their notes. All information needed for the test was given in a presentation. We also completed a worksheet in class with examples of test problems. Worksheets were turned in for points.
January 14 to January 18 -
We will be working problems daily from the practice GEE/iLEAP test given to students January 11
Monday - Working with coordinates to classify polygons using distance and slope.
Tuesday - Showing that slope and distance are related and how to use slope to classify quadrilaterals (worksheet)
Wednesday - probability, area and ratios from the GEE practice test
Thursday - Sketchpad activity exploring quadrilaterals (notes packet)
Friday - Presentation and notes on quadrilaterals.
