AN ALERT, AWAKE, WELL RESTED, AND PREPAIRED MIND AND BODY

REQUIRED TEXT BOOK (Our textbook should be left at home because we 
have a classroom set.)

REQUIRED WORK FOR CLASS EVERYDAY

3 SUBJECT SPIRAL NOTEBOOK (example: Mead 5-star is the best) 100 
pages or more with perferated pages. If you don't have perferated 
pages you will have to have loose leaf paper.

PENCILS (have more than one) mechanical pencils work the best 
because they do not require a pencil sharperner.

FOLDER (1)with Brads. The Plastic folder is the best because they 
will last the entire year.

One pack (four batteries) of AAA batteries.

OPTIONAL:

Calculator.  We will use and provide TI-83 graphing calculators in 
the classroom.  These calclators start around $80.00.  The 
calculator that I reccomend is a TI-30 or any other Texas Instrument 
calculator with fraction capabilities.  These calculators are less 
than $20.00 and will provide for all their calculating needs now.  
It is also suggeseted that they wait a couple of years before 
purchasing a graphing calculator because the need might not arise 
for one or you would want to have the latest one.  You know how fast 
technology goes out of date.

Graph Paper. One pack of graph paper for later in the year might be 
helpful.
