My name is Michelle Roe and I am very excited to be teaching at Zachary High School this year! I recently received a Master's Degree from LSU in School Counseling and spent last school year at Zachary High as a School Counselor Intern. I am a native of Baton Rouge and earned a Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Education with a Concentration in Mathematics from LSU a few years ago.

My mission as a teacher at Zachary High School is to provide an environment that enhances learning and personal development to aid my students in becoming successful citizens and maximizing their own unique potential. I believe that a respectful atmosphere is necessary to ensure student safety and to promote learning. All students are unique and require various forms of instruction that help make concepts meaningful in the students' lives and challenge their thinking and problem-solving abilities.
