Hi,I am Gloria Turner, married with three adult children. I am a
grandmother of six boys. I went to middle and high school in Zachary.
This is my ninth year here at Zachary High . I really enjoyed
teaching Community Survival. This school year I am teaching Job Skills and I
am the Transition Coordinator. In previously years, I have taught Resource
Study Skills and Resource Math. I have also taught Resource in the
elementary school.I depend on the Lord's guidance each day. I have a degree
in Business Education,certification in Special Education and aster Degree in
Administration and Supervision.
In my Community Survival class - My goal is to focus on the "whole person".
--Provide a truly comprehensive approach to preparing my students for adult
life after school.
--Teach my students important skills needed to function successfully as a
productive workers in the home and community.
