My name is Amy Nabors. I am a graduate of Louisiana State University where
I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education, with a
concentration in English. I have taught English in both the East Baton
Rouge Parish School System and the Zachary Community School District. As a
graduate of Zachary High myself, I am proud to be a teacher at Zachary High
School, and I look forward to another successful school year.
My mission for each of my students is to develop in character and in
knowledge throughout the school year. We will work hard to study various
genres and literary concepts, and we will study ourselves along the way. We
will also work to increase our writing skills so that we can proficiently
communicate with others. Hopefully, each of my students will leave my class
with the satisfaction of having reached some goals and with the
determination to set and aspire toward new goals.
