What's Happening This Week?
February 1-5
Reading:
This week, students will continue reading "The Diary of Anne Frank" in
play form. Twenty-five completed notecards are due on MONDAY. This is a 100-
point grade.
Novel project directions have been handed out. Please encourage your
child to read and complete the project. He/she should have chosen a
historical biography, historical fiction, or historical non-fiction book. It
is due on March 10.
English:
Students will continue learning about various types of adjectives this
week from the textbook. We will also be outlining and creating bibliographies
for the research project.(The outline and bib. are both 100-point grades.)
In spelling, students will be tested on Unit .
LEAP:
We will continue to prepare for LEAP through various in-class assignments
and the LEAP workbook. Our new LEAP tutor, Mrs. Nohra, will be working with
small groups every Wednesday and Thursday! We are glad to have her!
