Hello, and welcome to 7th Grade ELA, Ms. P. Newcomb's class. I have been
teaching here at Slidell Jr. High for 18 years. It is my privilege to have
you in my class. We will learn the function and usage of the English
language, along with reading strategies and skills. My goal is to help you
prepare yourself to communicate with others in real life situations, as well
as prepare for the LEAP next year.
