I was born in the capital city of the United Kingdom, London. That was way
back last century. I grew up in and around London and my passion was
horses. I was lucky enough to have one of my own (I got him for my 11th
birthday) and I used to spend all my free time with him. His name was
Toby. I went to a mixture of all girls schools and some schools with boys
and girls. By the time I reached the age of 14 I had attended 5 different
schools.
When I finished studying, I went to live and work in the capital of
France, Paris, for one year. I liked it so much and made so many friends
that I stayed for almost 5 years. When I was there I met Charles who is
from Lebanon. We got married in 1984 and came to live in Beirut. So, by
the time I was 22 years old I had lived in three capital cities!
I have lived in Lebanon since 1985. I have a daughter, Sacha, who is 24
years old and working as a KG2 teacher here at ACS. I also have a son,
Matthew, who is 21 years old and at university in the UK studying Global
Politics and International Relations. I am celebrating my 27th wedding
anniversary this September :)
I have three cats; a male called Thomas, a female called Bella, but I
usually call her Boo, and a new addition to our cat family called Baby. Sacha
found Baby in the street when she was just 3 weeks old. We took her in, fed
her special kitten milk until she could eat, and helped her to grow into a
beautiful young cat. We haven't found a perfect home for her so she is still
living with us right now.
