Expectations for ACS Parent Volunteers

 

Parent volunteers are expected to:

·    Coordinate all activities with the teacher in charge.

 

·    Be punctual.

 

·    Inform the office ahead of time if not able to keep an appointment.

 

·    Be informed about school rules, and apply them when responsible for students on the playground and field trips.

 

·    Refer all issues concerning discipline to the teacher in charge.

 

·    Never comment negatively on the work of an individual student.

 

·    Be positive and encouraging towards the students.

 

·    Observe confidentiality.

 

·    Turn their mobile phones off.

 

·    ACS is a non-smoking zone in accordance with a governmental decree.  We ask all parents kindly to refrain from smoking.
