ACS Winter Carnival
A winter carnival is being planned for Saturday, December 12th from 3:00 – 4:30 in the Lower School Auditorium and Multipurpose gym. This carnival will be for all ACS Early Years and Elementary students. Students MUST be accompanied by an adult or they will not be allowed to enter. ONLY ACS students will be allowed in which means friends and relatives will not be allowed. Supervision in the playground area will be the responsibility of the accompanying adult.
At the carnival there will be games, food, treats and an opportunity to have your picture taken with either Santa or Frosty. Santa will be on site from 3:30 to 4:30 and photographs maybe ordered and paid for at that time. What wonderful winter fun! The cost will be 5,000LL for each child to help defray costs. The Carnival Bake Sale will also help with operating costs. Gate 1 will open at 3:00. This will be the only entrance.
On Wednesday, December 2 at 8:00 in the Lower School Auditorium Early Years and Elementary Parent Coordinators and volunteers will meet to continue preparations. If you have some time please drop by to help , have a cup of coffee and get to know some lovely people.
Clean-up will be the responsibility of all those who attend the carnival. Numerous garbage cans will be set up and we will post signs to remind people to put garbage into the cans. Teachers will discuss this student responsibility in their classrooms. Parents are asked to support this initiative and to monitor their children.
Students are invited to make decorations for our tree at home and bring them in to hang on the tree. However, the decorations will not be returned.
