EY and ES Music will be instructed with an approach that has multiple dimensions. It is known internationally as Orff-Schulwerk or simply Orff. Essentially, instruction will include sensory experiences that involve active student participation in speaking, singing, moving/dancing, rhythmic training, instrument playing, improvising, reading, and writing. It is an all-inclusive perspective that is integrated into teaching everything about music and seeks to reach the whole child. This is the same manner in learning language.

ACS has two Orff-trained music specialists who will be teaching the EY and ES students. Every child will experience music in a refreshing way.
