Letter Grade Descriptors (Academic Subjects for Grades 3, 4, and 5)
The following descriptors articulate the significance of the letter grade and
serve as a guide to both students and faculty in recognizing its value. Taken
together they are meant to represent a holistic interpretation of the letter
grade for individual assignments or term grades. A specific work or a final
assessment does not have to match every descriptor to earn the grade.
