How are the students grades determined?

Grades are determined by 7 things:
Homework-20%, Tests/quizzes-20%, Participation-20%, Lab 
Reports/Projects-
20%, Notebook- 15%,  In the News Articles-5%

What is in the Notebook?

Students are required to hold onto everything that is given to 
them; 
tests,quizzes, worksheets, homework,news articles,review streets 
etc.  They 
are also required to keep the notebook in order.  There is a 
table of 
contents available in the front of the room for the students to 
use.

Can work be turned in late?

Work can be turned in late with a 50% point penalty. If it is not 
in on the second day, it is a 0.

How long do the students have to write the Lab Report?

Students have a week to write the report.  Every school day 
before the lab 
report is due, they can bring a rough draft to me to correct.  
They can do 
this every day up to the due date.

When is your help night?

Thursdays 2:20-3:20.  If you need to pick up your child before 
3:15, you 
must go into the office to pick up your child. (This is for ALL 
classes)
