I strive to provide a comfortable and safe environment for the children to
work and play in. We are a classroom family, and as such, we expect the
children to follow the rules so that everyone has an opportunity to learn.
If a child chooses to break a rule, the following will happen:

Child receives a warning.
Child writes his/her name on the chalkboard. (5 minutes of time out)
Child adds a checkmark next to their name. (10 minutes of time out)
Child adds a checkmark next to their name. (15 minutes of time out)
Child adds a checkmark next to their name. (Lose all Activity Center time)

If the child self-corrects his/her inappropriate behavior, then he/she may
erase a checkmark, etc. A BEHAVIOR CHART may be sent home, if a child
continues to have discipline problems. Please discuss any problem areas and
encourage your child to follow the rules. A Parent/Teacher conference will be
held for children with repeated discipline problems.
