Welcome to Second Grade at Barry School! I am very excited to once again, be
teaching Grade 2! This is my fourth year in a second grade classroom. I
began my teaching career 10 years ago in a private preschool where I was both
a classroom teacher and Assistant Director. After two years I began teaching
Kindergarten in a public school in Springfield. I taught there for four
years and left to take an intervention position here at Barry. I worked as
in interventionist until I had my daughter. After having her I returned to
the classroom where I have been ever since.
I am looking forward to a very exciting year full of learning and fun. I am
eager to watch your child grow and learn throughout this school year and want
to make it a wonderful experience for them any way I can. My door is always
open, please don't ever hesitate to contact me through email, notes or phone
calls. I feel strongly that a strong home/school connection is an important
part of your child's school experience.
