| Read to your child for 15 minutes each day!
What to do while reading...
*Talk about who the characters are in the story
*Talk about where the story takes place
*Talk about what the problem is in the story...and how it gets solved
*Have your child retell the story in his/her own words
*Have your child practice writing his/her last name. Write the first letter
with a capital letter and the rest with lower case. If this is a new skill
for your child, you can start by writing your child's name with a
highlighter and have him/her trace it!
