I will continue to organize Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) events.
The RAK Club promoted a number of events this year including "Fun Week"
which had "hat day, twin day, Barry spirit day, etc."
The RAK Club recognized over 50 students this year for their kind acts.
Check out our "Kindness Path" to see the names of students near the
cafeteria.
We continue to honor those students caught being kind by announcing their
names every Friday. Two fifth grade students every week will be mentioning
two students who have done a Random Act of Kindness (RAK). These students
will receive a "Kindness Pin". Please encourage your child to be kind to
others. It's a wonderful community acknowledgement that the students are
aware of and proud of.
A special welcome to Kindergarten Families! I hope that your child is
excited to join our school.
Lastly, my door is always open. If I can be of help please don't hesitate to
call on me. I look forward to seeing everyone at Barry.
