Be a fly on the wall in Miss Flynn & Ms. Davenport's room...

Roll-a-Tower

To play this game, you roll a dice and build a tower out of that many cubes then place that tower in the corresponding number column. If you roll that number again you move it up one space. Whichever number gets to the top first, wins!

Creation Station

To play this game you get a creation card and try to build that shape out of cubes, standing up.

Here is Cole making a horse

Eleanor made the bench

Margaret is working hard making a doorway

I have, who has?

To play this game you pass out all of the cards. Make sure everyone starts with the side that has a star on it facing up. The person who has the #10 starts first by saying "I have 10 (flip the card over) who has___?" then the person who has that card says "I have ___, (flip card over) who has___?" you keep going until the last card flipped over should have a blank side on the back. We play this game to help us recognize our numbers. Those teen and twenty numbers can be tricky!

Shape Puzzles

To play this game each child gets a shape puzzle piece and guesses how many cubes they think will fit on that piece. Then they fill it with cubes and see if they guessed right, if they were close or not. This helps us with estimation.

After we find out how many cubes fit on that shape puzzle piece we sort them on the rug according to the number of cubes that fit on it.

These are our hand print ghosts that we made for the letter G!
