Process

Step One: Choose the body system you and your partner are missing.

Step Two: Using a notebook/binder, explore the various websites by taking
notes on how your body would be different without that system. Record
evidence in that journal which answers the following question: How are other
body systems impacted when your chosen system is missing?

Step Three: You and your partner will analyze the evidence you have
collected. Individually report this evidence by writing a 5 - 7 paragraph
essay. Use the following questions to guide the writing of your essay. What
conclusions can you draw about whether or not the human body could survive if
it was missing just one of it's body systems? How does the evidence support
the conclusions you have reached? How are the other body systems affected by
not having the missing system? Are they able to complete their jobs
effectively if at all?

Step Four: Back to partner work. Using your essay as the foundation, create
an advertisement which stresses the importance of your chosen body system.
This advertisement must include a visual and an oral presentation. Refer to
the detailed description of what else will be expected for this final
product.
