History: Way back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth, I began college to be PE
teacher in Melrose my home town, (don’t worry Mr. Hunnewell it didn’t last
very long). I then worked for 15 years in early intervention with DSS kids
in Worcester. After having my two sons, Nick & Mike, I decided to stay home
& have fun with them until they were in school. Next, I worked at Thomas
Prince School & Paxton Center School while I finished my degree in special
education.
Degrees: Bachelor of Science & Master of Education in Special Education
Fitchburg State College
Present: I am really excited to be working with the middle school students
and their families for my sixth year at CTMS as the seventh & eighth grade
special education teacher. This year I have the pleasure of sharing the
seventh grade caseload with Mrs. LaHair.
Hobbies: Boating on Winnipesaukee (watching my sons wakeboarding), mountain
biking, skiing, hiking with our dog Bromley, attending Wachusett LAX games,
and knitting (when I sit still long enough).
To help each student develop confidence, recognize their potential, achieve
their own individual success and prepare them for the big LEAP to high
school!!!
