First of all, thanks for a great year! I was thinking that it would be fun to tie in some of our lessons throughout the year and connect them to our day-to-day lives. What better way to do this than with cheese? Cheese? You might ask. Well, cheese making involves the use of proteins, bacteria, plant material and accurate measuring... so why not! I would like to make small batches of mozzarella cheese with each group of students during class on Thursday 6/20. I will need to buy a few supplies to do this and would like if each student could contribute $1.00 to help with this. If students could bring in the $1.00 on Tuesday 6/18 that would give me plenty of time to buy the supplies. Should prove to be a ton of fun!
