To put it simply...I absolutely love science. I have always had a fascination
with the natural world and
how everything is connected. I have studied environmental science and
engineering at the State
University of New York College of Environmental Science for four years and
graduated with a B.S. in
Wood Products Engineering and Environmental Science. I have also had the great
opportunity to work with some of my colleagues at Tuft's university in the
FULCRUM program funded by the National Science Foundation. I have had many
opportunities to develop a strong understanding in teaching middle school
science through my curriculum development both within the Wachusett school
district and outside of the district. My wife
(Brynne), my two dogs (Cedar and Barley) and
I live in Oakham, MA. We both love central Massachusetts and all it has to
offer... both the environment and community in this part of the state are
something not to take granted. I absolutely love CTMS and feel as if I have
truly found
a "home" of my own. I work with a terrific, dedicated staff and I feel that
every student has a inquiring mind just waiting to be tapped into.
My mission statement is simple:
We work as a team where each member puts forth his/her best effort at all
times while showing respect for each other, the natural world around them and
most importantly, themselves.
