We currently use the John Collins method of writing as well as MCAS 
writing standards for the short and long response questions. 
Information was sent home earlier, signed, and returned. 


Please remember that the presentation of your paper is very 
important. It should be neat!  Composition paper should be used when 
your paper is handwritten.  It should done in blue or black ink and 
margins should be on the paper.  Your paper should be complete with 
supporting details, etc.

We are writing a five paragraph essay in class. Instructions as to 
font size, format, etc., have been discussed in class.  A parental 
signature is needed before the paper is given a grade. (Inanimate 
Object Essay)  Paper should be typed.
