We currently use the John Collins method of writing as well as MCAS 
writing standards for the short and long response questions. 
Information was sent home earlier, signed, and returned. 


Please remember that the presentation of your paper is very 
important. It should be neat!  Composition paper should be used when 
your paper is handwritten.  It should done in blue or black ink and 
margins should be on the paper.  Your paper should be complete with 
supporting details, etc.

We are writing a five paragraph essay (narrative on a memory from 
student's life) in class. Instructions as to font size, format, etc., 
have been discussed in class.  A rubric has been passed out and 
papers should be signed by a parent upon completion of the final 
copy.  A parental signature is needed before the paper is given a 
grade. (Narrative on a memory form our life.) Paper should be typed.
