2. Bring in a book to read to class each day. You are required to read TWO
age appropriate books per term. A parent sign off bookmark will be given
to each child each week and should be signed each evening.
**Starting next week if a signature sheet is not returned signed, a zero will
be given for homework.
3. Pride and Spirit Bulletin Board
Please bring in a picture of yourself doing something you enjoy or a picture
of someone or something you love. Explain briefly what the picture is
about on an index card. We will share these in class and place them on the
bulletin board for all your classmates to enjoy.
4. A new spelling list has been passed out. Study ONE word tonight. Quiz
will be in two weeks.
5. We will be starting prepositions Monday.
6. We have started a five paragraph essay. Packets and information were
passed out Monday, October 7. Work tonight on your web. Monday we will work
on the grabber paragraph.
7. We have discussed appositive phrases in class.
