Daily Essentials for Class

"Tools" frequently used in Language Arts with Mrs. Powers

1 "Writer's Notebook" which will contain written entries, mini grammar exercises, and a reading log (the WN should stay in school unless otherwise indicated)
1 Independent reading book (should go back and forth between school and home and read DAILY at home for at least 20 minutes)
1 "working folder" (should go back and forth between school and home and hold assignments that are worked on both in class and for homework)
1 "toolbinder" (stays in class and holds notes and handouts pertaining to material taught)
1 Pencil or pen
1 Agenda book (goes to and from school each day as the place where assignments should be recorded and checked off when completed)
