11/1-11/5: Students have been asked to record news articles or news clips
that have are about Israel or the Middle East. They are to record the date,
title of the article, and the newspaper or news channel that they got it from.
11/3/09: Students are to select 1 of the following assignments. Completed
assignment is due Friday 11/6/09.
* You are a 12 or 13 year old Israelite. Moses has come to free
your people. Create a diary describing the events.
Be creative.
* Select an object that may have been in the home of an
Israelite. Retell the story of the Exodus from the point
of view of the object.
* Pretend you are a news reporter. Write a news article about
the Exodus from a Hebrew's point of view. Write the same
article from an Egyptian's point of view.

11/23/09: Thank you for a great job on your final Israelite projects! Over
Thanksgiving break collect a shoebox or a box of equal size. Think about who
you might consider a hero. It could be a family member, an athlete, an
actor, etc. This will be discussed in detail after the break.
