Why must I study vocabulary and concepts every night?
It is impossible to use a foreign language without knowledge of the
vocabulary words and what to do with them. Without knowing the words you
will not be able to speak, listen, read, or write.
Does Ms. Morris offer extra help?
Yes, extra help is offered Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday during Academic
Enrichment and Monday-Thursday mornings at 8:00 with PRIOR NOTICE.
Is there extra credit?
Any student who has made a concerted effort towards academic progress by
completing in class and at home assignments may complete one extra credit
report per term. The report is to be one-two pages, double-spaced about a
topic that has to do with French or Spanish of the student's choice.
Examples of this are: flamenco dancing, the Louvre, a famous city, or a
famous person. Don't forget your Works Cited!
May I switch languages in eighth grade?
No. You must continue with the language you chose in seventh grade through
eighth grade. If you wish to change languages, you may do so in your
freshman year of high school.
