About The Teacher

I am a 1994 graduate of Leominster. I attended Assumption College and LOVED
it! I graduated with a double major in French and Spanish and a double
concentration in Middle School and High School Education in 1998. My Master's
Degree is in Education with a concentration in Spanish. I am currently
enrolled in a CAGS program at Fitchburg State College in Elementary Education
and English. I love being a student as much as I love being a teacher.

I believe teachers should do what they can to enrich the academic community of
their school. I am the 7th and 8th grade Student Council Advisor and I help
direct the 7th and 8th grade chorus when I can....generally once Mrs. Basiul
starts practicing with the full chorus. I am usually available for extra help
after school with one day notice and parent permission.

I love to hear from parents...both good and bad news! The more I know about
your child, the better teacher I can be! Feel free to contact me via email at
any time: julie_morris@wrsd.net.

Ms. Morris' Middle School World Language Goals!

My goal is that every 7th grade French or Spanish student work to the best of
their ability and enjoy my class. I ask for attention, participation, and
effort. The more the students can share these goals with me, the more fun
activities we can do in class.

My wish is that every student earn a spot in a level 2 class in 9th grade,
though this is not for everyone. WRHS offers a one year level 1 review (or
beginning for a new language) in all languages (AF), slower paced level 1
courses (AE),a college prep level 2 course (AF), and honors level 2 courses.
