Room 108 News

Dear Families,

You should have seen all of them yesterday running around the soccer field
with the pinwheels they made in class. The wind was blowing pretty good so
our pinwheels were zooming around and around. Some children were very
creative in making their pinwheels move fast. It was pretty funny!
This science activity taught them about wind and a weather instrument. They
learned that we can measure the speed of the wind with an anemometer. On
October 16th they will get to see a few working anemometers when we head to
the Blue Hill Observatory. If you see an anemometer when you are driving,
please point it out to your child. They know what they look like too!

 						Take care,
						Brian O’Donnell
