Yesterday, our class enjoyed a wonderful trip to the Harvard Museum of Natural
History. This is an amazing museum that I highly recommend to all. The
children attended a workshop on rocks and minerals. They spent the remainder
of the time touring the museum. I was extremely proud of the children. They
were engaged in every activity and very well behaved. Thank you to the parents
who chaperoned. It was a great day.

I will be sending home conference dates this Friday. I have tried to
accommodate most requests. Please contact me, if you need to change your time.

Next week, we will begin our Heritage Unit. This is a month long study. There
are several assignments that are completed at home. The children will need
help from their family members to complete these assignments. It is important
that they put their very best effort into each assignment. The unit will
conclude with a Heritage Feast. This is for all of the families to share
traditions, food, and view students' work. A list of assignments and dates
will be sent home on Monday.

Enjoy this beautiful fall weather!
