Is there any homework?

The most important thing you can do with your child is to read to them
daily for at least 15 minutes a day. While reading, ask questions about
the story (Such as: why do you think that happened? or What do
you think will happen next?).

When finished reading go back into the book and play a game (for
example can you find the letter m or can you find a word with 3 letters).

Occasionally, there will be an assignment from the Math Trailblazer's
Program that comes home. Please do those with your child. It is a
reinforcement of a lesson taught in school.

As a special and optional homework assignment children can participate
in our take home bags. In the bags there are certain activities for
children to do. There is a book to read and some fun work to
do together.
