About The Teacher
This will be my fourth year happily teaching first grade! Previously, I had been teaching kindergarten at the Cole School for 16 years and also several years in Wakefield, MA. where I grew up. My first teaching position was at the elementary school that I had gone to as a young student. What a fun experience it was to teach there! It has been a privilege and a pleasure to be employed in the Boxford Public School System. I received my undergraduate degree in education from Salem State College and my graduate degree from Lesley University. I have 3 grown daughters, Julie 23, Lisa 25, and Jen 27. My children enjoyed living and attending schools in Boxford for 16 years before I moved to Danvers. I must admit that I do not miss the mosquitoes in Boxford, instead enjoy time spent walking and reading- two of my favorite pastimes! I look forward to getting to know my new students and families every year!
