Save the Date -
Sharon Elementary Schools Barnes & Noble Bookfair on December 9th
All day
long at any Barnes & Noble! Special events at the Walpole Mall location from
4:00-7:00pm:
• principals doing read-alouds
• musical performances by students
• book signing by author Chuck Hogan (East
parent)
• and more!
When you use voucher #10005023 at any Barnes
and Noble anywhere on December 9th, the Sharon Elementary Schools will get a
percentage. In early December, coupons will be sent out both electronically
and in backpacks. The emailed coupons can be sent to friends and relatives to
use at any Barnes and Noble on that date. December 9th is a perfect date,
because Hanukkah starts at the end of that week and Christmas is just around
the corner!!! Spread the word!!! Send those voucher number to grandparents,
family friends, and anyone else you can think of!!! Click

Volunteers Needed!
The PTO is
currently looking for volunteers to help with the following:
--Popcorn Friday:
Popcorn Friday is a CSS tradition! Volunteers needed to help pop and bag
popcorn, and/or clean up on Friday mornings, anytime between 7-10AM. Come help
for any part of that time as you can. If you're interested in volunteering,

or Mary Lang (marycsspto@hotmail.com).
--Art: Art Teacher
Committee Chair Lakshmi Raman and Mrs. Biddle are looking for someone to come
to Cottage once a week to help hang art up and do other light work. If you are
able to help, please contact Lakshmi (lakshmijay@comcast.net).
--MainSpring House Lunch Program: volunteers
needed to help children make lunches for the residents of MainSpring
House, a local non-profit dedicating to ending homelessness. If you have
time to help out on December 8, January 12, February 9, March 9, April 6, May
4 or June 8, please email MainSpring Committee Chair Loren McLaughlin (lrkkc5@comcast.net).
--Fun Fair: volunteers needed to co-chair
raffles, and graphic designer neede to help us with the logo and signage, etc.

Used Legos Wanted!
The
first-grade teachers are looking for donations of used legos for their
classroom activities. If you have any old legos to donate, please bring them
to the CSS office.

Throughout the year, the PTO organizes a wide variety of
programming to support the curriculum, build community and raise funds to
enhance student learning at Cottage Street School. The CSS PTO is a 501(c)(3)
non-profit organization.
Join the PTO and help make our school great! All PTO
members get a copy of the Cottage Street School directory free . The
directory, which contains class lists and contant information for students,
makes it easy for you to connect with other CSS families.
Get involved! The PTO offers a wide variety of
volunteer opportunities, allowing you to do as little or as much as you like. Click
