Week of 11/30:
Welcome to a new week of school.
Picture retakes are on Wednesday.
Tuesday is the beginning of our annual can food and outerwear drive. Please
try to donate some items by December 11th to help those in need. Thank you!
Part of every student's weekly homework is to study for tests and quizzes.
Please review concepts at home with your child to help him/her be prepared.

In spelling, we are on lesson 10.
In ELA, are discussing types of figurative language. We will look for
examples in writing and will create our own examples. We will also be
studying uses of the comma. We will begin to read the novel Tuck Everlasting.
In math, we are working with fractions.
In social studies, we are continuing to study South America.
In science, we are working on endangered animal research.
Please check both the website and agenda books for important homework
assignments and due dates.
Students should have a book in school at all times for independent reading.
Both Ms. Andersen and Mrs. Walker have classroom libraries from which
students may choose books.
