Mission Label:
Mission
Our class mission is to create independent learners who are well prepared for the future. In order to develop into successful sixth grade students, the children should follow our classroom policies. Homework: An assignment should be passed in the day it is due. If it is not in class at the time of review it is considered late. It can be passed in one day late for half credit. It will be marked as a zero if it is more than one day late. 3 or more zeros per week result in a recess detention. Homework should always be neat and done in cursive when necessary. Long term and nightly assignments: Students are responsible for completing all assignments and for making parents aware of the work. Cursive: The majority of our work is done in cursive and complete sentences are used. Absences: Students are responsible for all class work and homework missed due to an absence. Agenda Book: Students are responsible for bringing agenda booklets to class and for accurately recording assignments and due dates. Grades: Students are responsible for showing parents/guardians their grades. Anything marked with a check minus is to be redone.
