About The Teacher
I am a first year teacher and I am excited to be a part of the Dennett once again! Before I became a fifth grade teacher at the Dennett, I was a long- term substitute for second grade in Mrs. Tartaglione's classroom. I was also a long-term substitute at North Pembroke for third grade. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Earth Science at Bridgewater State College. Next year I am planning to begin my Master's Dregree in Reading or Special Education. Reading, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and teaching are some of the hobbies I enjoy. In addition to having a brand new classroom I have been planning my wedding for this upcoming summer! :)
Mission Label:
Mission
This is my 4th year at Dennett. I began as a first grade teacher and taught math and science in 5th grade. I'm now teaching all subjects to my class with the exception of Social Studies. I also teach Science to Miss Varley's class. Before I came to Plympton, I worked in Hingham as a reading tutor for 4 years in grades 1 and 3. My next position there was as a long-term sub for grades 1 and 5. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Psychology at Simmons College and am half way towards my Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I enjoy reading, teaching, spending time with family and friends and almost all outdoor activities.
